Azerbaijan to Enhance Lachin with New Tram Line and Tourist Attractions


Lachin: Azerbaijan is set to revamp the city of Lachin by constructing a new tram line along Heydar Aliyev street, part of a broader initiative to develop the area into a significant tourist destination, according to Trend News Agency.

According to Trend News Agency, Tofig Islamov, the acting executive director of the Lachin District Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service, announced the ambitious project during the Caspian Construction Week. In addition to the tram line, the plan includes the construction of hotels, galleries, catering facilities, a music hall, a theater, and creative centers. These developments aim to transform Heydar Aliyev street into a bustling tourist hub. Furthermore, a cable car is also planned to link the city center with the boulevard by the Hakari river, enhancing accessibility and offering scenic views of the area.
