Lachin: Azerbaijan is set to establish a new national park based on the Lachin and Gubadli reserves, as part of the country’s ‘Great Return’ initiative. An action plan is currently being prepared for the period of 2027-2030, as announced by the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Vugar Karimov.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimov revealed that the upcoming national park will cover an area of approximately 40,000 hectares. This development is part of a broader strategy to enhance the ecological landscape and promote environmental conservation in the region.
