Lachin: A total of 132 hectares of new green areas have been established in Zangilan, Jabrayil, Aghdam, and Fuzuli districts, as outlined in the territorial planning documents of these liberated regions, stated Vugar Karimov, the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimov emphasized the ongoing efforts to clear forest fund areas from mines and unexploded ordnance in the districts of Jabrayil, Zangilan, Gubadli, and Fuzuli. Planting and sowing operations have been executed across 286 hectares of forest fund land within these territories. Looking ahead, plans for the autumn planting season of 2025 include conducting planting and sowing activities on an additional 240 hectares of forest fund land, with soil preparation currently in progress in these areas.
