Baku: Rules for ensuring the cybersecurity of strategic facilities will be developed, APA reports. This is reflected in President Ilham Aliyev's Decree on the implementation of the Law "On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information."
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Decree mandates the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare and submit proposals to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan within one month. These proposals will focus on the rules for implementing the regulatory sandbox, including oversight of participants, the maximum duration, and procedures for exemptions from regulatory legal requirements.
Furthermore, the Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with preparing and submitting proposals within three months regarding rules for ensuring the information security and cybersecurity of the information infrastructure of state bodies, excluding entities involved in intelligence and counterintelligence activities. This initiative extends to protected persons and strategic facilities.
