Baku: The 'Power of Unity - 2026' joint military exercise is set to take place in Azerbaijan, featuring military personnel from Azerbaijan, Trkiye, and Uzbekistan, as confirmed by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense through AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exercise will occur in three stages across various locations: the Azerbaijan Army's Gizilgaya Training Center in the Garabagh economic region, the Garabaghlar Training Center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira training area in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

The exercise's primary goal is to bolster readiness for joint operations, improve troop coordination, standardize training procedures, and enhance the combat capabilities of the units involved. This will include personnel, combat equipment, naval and aviation assets, and UAVs.

Military personnel and aviation assets from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Trkiye have already arrived in Azerbaijan in preparation for the exercise. Necessary measures have been implemented to accommodate the personnel and address other organizational requirements as part of the exercise plan.
