Baku: A unified passport will be issued for cultural heritage, as reflected in the amendment to the Law ‘On the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments,’ which President Ilham Aliyev signed into effect by decree, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree mandates that the Cabinet of Ministers must approve the rules for the registration (passportization) of immovable monuments and establish the standard form of the passport within two months. The Cabinet is also required to report back to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding these developments.
