Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has ratified the ‘Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Plant Quarantine and Plant Protection between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’. The agreement, aimed at enhancing collaboration between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in this significant sector, has been formalized through the president’s approval.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev signed the corresponding law to bring the agreement into effect. The original agreement was signed on February 24, 2025, in Baku, marking a step towards strengthened bilateral relations in agricultural cooperation and safeguarding plant health.
