Azerbaijan to Lodge Protest After Summoning Iranian Ambassador

Baku: The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A strong protest will be conveyed to the Iranian side, and a corresponding note of protest will be presented, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan said in a statement.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani authorities have taken this step to formally address their concerns with the Iranian government. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the seriousness of the situation and the necessity of conveying their protest through diplomatic channels.
