Baku: The minimum subsistence level and the need criterion in Azerbaijan are set to increase, as announced by Musa Guliyev, Chairman of the Labor and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), during a statement to APA. This development marks a significant policy adjustment aimed at addressing economic conditions in the country.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new adjustment will see the minimum subsistence level and the need criterion raised by 15 manats, bringing the total to 300 manats for the next year. This change follows a previous figure of 285 manats recorded in 2025, indicating a concerted effort by the government to improve living standards for its citizens.
