Azerbaijan to Recognize State Sovereignty Day as Working Holiday

Baku: Azerbaijan will mark September 20, known as State Sovereignty Day, as a working holiday. This development was reported by APA, indicating that the day will be officially recognized as a working holiday in the country.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this change is part of a proposed amendment to the Labor Code. The amendment was discussed at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Regional Affairs. The draft includes State Sovereignty Day in the official list of holidays of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
