Azerbaijan to Review Minimum Wage at Least Once a Year Under New Amendments

Baku: The minimum wage in Azerbaijan will be reviewed at least once a year, APA reports. This initiative is part of the recent amendments to the Labor Code, which have received approval through a decree by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the amendment mandates that the minimum wage will be reconsidered no less than once annually. This task will be undertaken by the institution designated by the relevant executive authority. The review process will be based on proposals submitted by the body determined by the relevant executive authority, ensuring a structured approach to wage adjustments.
