Azerbaijan Transfers Mandatory Health Insurance Powers to Labor Ministry

Baku: The powers related to mandatory health insurance in Azerbaijan have been transferred from the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. This decision takes into account clause 3.3 of the recently signed decree.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree that officially assigns these responsibilities to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. This move marks a significant shift in the administration of health insurance policies in the country, indicating a strategic change in how mandatory health insurance will be managed.
