Turkmenbashi:Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have seen a dynamic development in their bilateral relations in recent years, as highlighted by President Ilham Aliyev during his address at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the significance of the five high-level visits that have taken place since the previous year. These visits underscore the robust political dialogue and the mutual intention to further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
President Aliyev also mentioned the construction of a mosque in the city of Fuzuli, initiated by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. The foundation of the mosque, which they jointly participated in laying last year, is described as a gift from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan, symbolizing the friendship and spiritual connection between the two nations.
