Turkmenbashi:Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has emphasized the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in recent years.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev highlighted this progress during his address at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia. He noted that five high-level visits have taken place since last year, reflecting the intense political dialogue and mutual desire to strengthen bilateral ties.

The President also mentioned the construction of a mosque in the city of Fuzuli, initiated by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. Aliyev described the joint participation in laying the mosque's foundation as a testament to the friendship and spiritual closeness between the two nations.
