Shusha: Two mass graves have been discovered during excavation activities in the regions of Shusha and Khojaly, as revealed by Eldar Samadov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War and Missing Persons and Hostages of Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Samadov explained that one of the mass graves was located near the city of Shusha, specifically at the intersection of the Shusha-Khankendi and Shusha-Lachin roads. The remains found at this site are believed to belong to at least five individuals. The discovery was made during road construction activities, which necessitated the removal of the remains from the site.

The second grave was uncovered along the Askeran-Khojaly road. This site contained remains believed to belong to at least seven missing martyrs. Experts involved in the excavation have suggested that these remains are likely of civilians who were interred in a non-traditional manner. The findings have prompted further investigation into the historical context and identities of the individuals found in these graves.
