Azerbaijan Unveils Family Concept Document to Guide Future Policies

Baku: The Family Concept document has been prepared, as announced by Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs. This announcement was made during the discussion of the 'Information on the activities of the executive authority exercising control over ensuring gender equality in 2025' at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the document has been sent to relevant state bodies for review and input. Muradova emphasized that these bodies are submitting their proposals, and the document is intended to serve as a political framework defining Azerbaijan's approach and tasks in the modern era. Following this, action plans related to the implementation of the document will be adopted and implemented. Additionally, Muradova highlighted the ongoing efforts to finalize the second action plan on the Child Strategy for 2026-2030, which aims to significantly impact related issues.
