BAKU – Azerbaijan is advancing its urban development with the introduction of a fifth residential complex in Zangilan city, as part of its broader efforts to revitalize the area.

According to Trend News Agency, Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, revealed the plans through his official social media account. The announcement comes shortly after President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the complex on October 3, signaling a significant step in the city’s reconstruction efforts.

The new residential complex is strategically located in the central part of Zangilan, designated as a medium-density mixed-use area. Its proximity to essential community facilities like a school and kindergarten, the Zangilan Congress Center, and a city park, underscores the government’s intent to create a comprehensive living solution for its residents.

Spanning five hectares, the complex will feature buildings ranging from three to six stories and will house a total of 334 apartments. This development is expected to play a crucial role in the city’s ongoing urban transformation and provide modern living spaces to accommodate the growing population.
