Azerbaijani Air Force Pilots Conduct Combat Training Flights with Advanced Aircraft

Baku: Azerbaijani Air Force pilots recently participated in combat training flights utilizing JF-17C, Su-25ML, and L-39 aircraft. These exercises were part of the 2026 Training Plan sanctioned by the Minister of Defense, as announced by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the training commenced with readiness reports from flight crews, followed by an evaluation of the pilots' theoretical understanding of training flight requirements and safety procedures. Prior to departure, pilots conducted thorough pre-flight inspections of their aircraft.

The training flights involved daytime takeoffs and landings on specified routes. Pilots executed complex piloting and combat maneuvers at different altitudes, aiming to bolster their combat readiness and enhance their ability to execute tasks effectively and safely under various tactical scenarios.

Throughout the exercises, the military pilots showcased a high level of professionalism, focusing on the precision and safety of task execution and improving the combat employment capabilities of their aviation assets.
