BAKU – Nizami Gahramanov, captain of the BE-200CS amphibious aircraft, has announced that Azerbaijani support for the wildfires in Turkey will commence within hours, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gahramanov detailed that, following President Ilham Aliyev’s orders, the aircraft would soon land at Izmir Airport. “Our team is prepared and will begin operations to extinguish the wildfires in the early hours immediately upon arrival,” he stated, highlighting Azerbaijan’s commitment to assisting its neighboring country during this crisis.
