Sofia: Elmar Mammadov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Bulgaria, has officially presented his credentials to President Iliana Iotova. Ambassador Mammadov conveyed greetings and best wishes from Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev to the Bulgarian President, marking the start of his diplomatic mission in Bulgaria.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ambassador Mammadov expressed his honor in taking on his new role and emphasized his commitment to enhancing the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. In a meeting following the credential presentation, President Iliana Iotova praised the successful cooperation between the two nations.

Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to the strategic partnership established in 2015, highlighting the importance of strengthening cooperation in various areas of their bilateral agenda.
