Baku: A total of seven planes, each consisting of four groups, will depart to transport pilgrims for the Hajj pilgrimage, Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system, told APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the first and second planes carrying 180 pilgrims each will depart on May 17, the third and fourth planes on May 18, the fifth and sixth planes on May 19, and the seventh plane on May 21. There will be four pilgrim groups on each plane. Two planes will depart daily, in the morning and evening, while one plane will depart on May 21. They will first land in the city of Jeddah and then travel by bus to the Johfa miqat, where they will enter into ihram and arrive in Mecca during the night hours.
Recall that the price of the pilgrimage package for one person during the 2026 Hajj season has been set at $6,100.
