Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of the Gambia Nazim Samadov has presented his credentials to Gambian President Adama Barrow.

Ambassador Nazim Samadov conveyed President Ilham Aliyev’s greetings to President Adama Barrow during the ceremony held at the State House in the Gambian capital city Banjul.

The Azerbaijani diplomat underlined that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Gambia.

Nazim Samadov also handed over a letter of invitation from President Ilham Aliyev to President Adama Barrow to attend the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which is set to be hosted by Azerbaijan this November.
