Azerbaijani Ambassador Strengthens Ties with Serbia through Credential Presentation

Belgrade: Azerbaijani Ambassador to Serbia, Tahir Taghizada, officially presented his credentials to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on September 14. This event marks a significant step in the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Vucic shared his acceptance of the credentials on his social media accounts, emphasizing the strategic relations founded on a longstanding friendship between Serbia and Azerbaijan. He conveyed confidence that these relations would continue to develop under Ambassador Taghizada's tenure.

President Vucic highlighted the mutual support for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity as fundamental elements of the trust shared between Azerbaijan and Serbia. He pointed out the ongoing intensive political dialogue and regular bilateral meetings as evidence of the strong ties between the two nations. Additionally, he noted the importance of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's recent visit to Belgrade and the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council, which marked the beginning of a new chapter in their bilateral relationship.
