Baku: On September 14, Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Media and Broadcasting Council, met with a delegation led by Ferhat Pirin§§i, Deputy Head of Communications at the Presidency's Directorate of Communications of Trkiye.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on the importance of the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in the media and communications sectors. The participants emphasized the need to expand the exchange of experience in the modern information environment and strengthen joint efforts to combat disinformation.

During the discussions, Ferhat Pirin§§i highlighted the new opportunities that digital transformation brings to the media and communications sectors. The meeting also stressed the significance of effectively utilizing new media tools, developing modern communication approaches, and expanding professional ties and joint initiatives between media representatives of the two countries.
