Azerbaijani Amphibious Aircraft Joins Firefighting Efforts in Turkey


BAKU – An amphibious aircraft from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has commenced firefighting operations in Turkey, following a directive from President Ilham Aliyev to aid in combating severe forest fires in the country.



According to Trend News Agency, The press service of the ministry told Trend that the aircraft, designed for emergency situations, has already begun its mission in Turkey. This deployment underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to regional assistance and cooperation in times of natural disasters.
