BAKU: Representatives from the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) showcased the demining process to participants of the Caspian Construction Week, highlighting the critical safety measures involved in clearing landmines. According to Trend News Agency, the demonstration was part of a broader series of events during the Caspian Construction Week. This week includes the 4th Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction, and Development of Karabakh Exhibition (Rebuild Karabakh 2024), the 29th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition "BakuBuild," the 16th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary, and Swimming Pools "Aquatherm Baku," and the 12th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition "RoadandTraffic." These events are being held at the Expo Center in Baku from October 15 through 17, aiming to promote various sectors including construction, infrastructure, and public transport, alongside the critic al issue of landmine safety and demining technologies. The involvement of ANAMA not only emphasizes the ongoing challenges Azerbaijan faces with landmines but also underscores the country's commitment to ensuring safety and advancing economic development through such international exhibitions.
