Baku: Azerbaijani and Belarus Special Forces personnel convened for a pivotal meeting, as part of the bilateral cooperation plan signed between the Azerbaijani and Belarusian Defense Ministries, APA reports citing Azerbaijan’s MoD. This meeting was a significant step in enhancing defense relations between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the visiting Belarus Special Forces representatives were hosted at one of Azerbaijan’s Special Forces military units. The visit commenced with a ceremonial tribute where flowers were laid before the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the monument dedicated to the memory of Shehids.

A comprehensive briefing on the capabilities and structure of the Azerbaijani Special Forces was presented to the Belarusian guests, who also had the opportunity to ask questions during the session. This exchange of information set the stage for discussions on the prospects of future cooperation and mutual interest proposals aimed at further developing relations between the two Special Forces.

The meeting concluded with the guests witnessing a series of demonstration performances showcasing the combat training of the Azerbaijani Special Forces, highlighting their skills and operational readiness.
