Azerbaijani and Iranian Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Issues

Baku — Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, engaged in a detailed telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, discussing bilateral cooperation and regional matters.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the dialogue focused on reinforcing collaboration in economic, trade, transportation, and communications sectors. Minister Bayramov extended congratulations to Minister Araghchi on his recent appointment and invited him to Azerbaijan to further discuss collaborative projects.

The conversation underscored the significance of the State Commission on economic, trade, and humanitarian cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran. Minister Araghchi expressed his appreciation for the warm wishes and discussed the recent reopening of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Iran, signaling a positive trajectory in diplomatic relations.
