Baku: Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Ayman Safadi held a telephone conversation on March 2 to discuss the escalating tensions in the Middle East. The conversation revolved around the military-political situation currently unfolding in the region.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both ministers emphasized the importance of halting further deterioration of the regional security environment. They highlighted the necessity of addressing existing discrepancies through dialogue and diplomatic means, in line with international law norms and principles.
The ministers also prioritized the security of civilians and the prevention of a worsening humanitarian situation. They stressed the need for increased global efforts to maintain stability and security in the region, while also touching upon other issues of mutual concern.
