Baku: On March 3, Baku will host the 12th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and the 4th Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting, APA reports. These meetings will see participation from 27 countries, including Azerbaijan and the European Union, along with eleven international financial institutions and 49 energy companies. Ministers, deputy ministers, and other high-level representatives will gather for this significant event.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meetings will commence with an opening session, followed by ministerial sessions and plenary discussions on a range of topics. A notable event within the Advisory Council framework is the Azerbaijan-European Union green connectivity Investment Roundtable. This roundtable aims to enhance collaboration between Azerbaijan and the EU in the realm of green energy.
The conclusion of the event will feature a press conference to present the outcomes of the meetings, summarizing the results that took place. The ministerial meetings under the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council have been a regular occurrence since February 2015, serving as a platform for dialogue and cooperation on energy matters.
