Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions were centered around the growing tensions in the region.

The ministers expressed deep concern over the ongoing military clashes, highlighting that these developments pose serious threats to regional security and stability. They emphasized the necessity of de-escalating tensions and intensifying diplomatic efforts to resume the negotiation process.

During the conversation, both sides underscored the importance of adhering to international law norms and principles and ensuring the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure. Additionally, other issues of mutual interest between Azerbaijan and Kuwait were discussed.
