Baku: Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), recently held a meeting with Peter Governor of the National Bank of Slovakia, who was visiting the country. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for stronger institutional ties between the two central banks.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting underscored the significant potential for collaboration in several key areas. These include the regulation of capital markets and the insurance sector, modernization of supervisory frameworks, safeguarding financial stability, enhancing financial literacy, combating digital fraud, and strengthening consumer protection. Both sides exchanged views on initiatives to deepen cooperation and further strengthen institutional connections between the organizations.
