Baku: Azerbaijani and Swiss Foreign Ministers recently held discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing regional issues. The meeting highlighted the ongoing commitment between Azerbaijan and Switzerland to strengthen their partnership across various sectors.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions also set the stage for the upcoming 10th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Switzerland Joint Economic Commission. This meeting is expected to further solidify economic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration. Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis expressed his appreciation for Azerbaijan's role in the peace process, underscoring the importance of continued diplomatic efforts.

In related developments, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister announced that road projects leading to the Azerbaijan-Armenia border are scheduled for completion in 2027. This infrastructure development is anticipated to facilitate improved connectivity and economic growth in the region.
