Baku: Swiss FM Ignazio Cassis expressed Switzerland's intention to broaden its relationship with Azerbaijan in multiple sectors. Cassis, who serves as the Federal Councillor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, made these remarks during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Cassis emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two nations. He also extended an invitation for Azerbaijan to participate in the upcoming OSCE Ministerial Council meeting. Cassis reiterated Switzerland's commitment to expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in all possible areas.
