Azerbaijani and Turkish Foreign Ministers Address Regional Tensions

Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov engaged in a telephone discussion with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on March 2, focusing on the military-political situation and security threats in the Middle East.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers emphasized that the escalation of regional tensions is unacceptable. They underscored the necessity of resolving issues through diplomatic channels, adhering to international law and widely accepted norms and principles. The conversation also highlighted the importance of maintaining regional stability and security, with a strong focus on protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
