Stockholm: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic alliance and ensuring stability in the region.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers emphasized the development of a strong friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey. They also reviewed the current security situation in the region and discussed efforts to ensure regional peace and stability.
The meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining a high-level political dialogue between the two countries. The officials explored prospects for implementing economic, trade, energy, and transport projects, along with regional connectivity initiatives.
Both ministers stressed the significance of continuing close cooperation within international organizations, noting that mutual support between Azerbaijan and Turkey has positively contributed to regional cooperation. They also exchanged views on various other bilateral and regional issues.
