Washington: Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov recently met with Andrew Stowe, the U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, as part of his visit to the United States. The meeting was centered on the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, with a specific focus on enhancing their strategic partnership.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions were primarily aimed at implementing the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America. The discussions also touched upon the outcomes of the Baku Economic Dialogue, indicating a mutual interest in expanding cooperation across various sectors.
In addition to bilateral issues, the meeting involved exchanges on international and regional matters of mutual interest. Both parties expressed their commitment to maintaining close engagement and ongoing consultations, which they believe will contribute to global peace, security, and prosperity.
