Baku: Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, and Ruslan Stefanchuk, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, held a phone conversation to discuss enhancing cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments.

According to Trend News Agency, the dialogue highlighted the satisfaction of both parties with the current state of relations and explored avenues for expanding parliamentary collaboration. The speakers emphasized the significance of mutual visits as part of their comprehensive Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations. In this vein, Speaker Gafarova extended an invitation to Stefanchuk to visit Azerbaijan. Both leaders expressed their confidence that interparliamentary ties will continue to develop through joint efforts, both bilaterally and within international organizations.
