The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published a banking review on the results of January-November 2022.

The document says that in 11 months the Azerbaijani banks have earned 859.4 million manats of net profit.

This is up by 40% from the same period of the last year.

In the reviewed period, the local banks earned 2,470.3 million manats of interest income, 1,077.8 million manats of non-interest income, incurred 592.8 million manats of interest expenses, 1,672.4 million manats of interest-free expenses, 0.3 million manats of unforeseen expenses, created a special reserve for overdue loans in the amount of 226.5 million manats, paid 196.6 million manats of income tax
