This November 6.076 different cars were delivered to Azerbaijan, which is up by 8.6% from October. According to the State Customs Committee, import of cars to Azerbaijan dropped by about 15.000 units in 11 months.

In January-November this year we purchased 66,866 vehicles (-18.2%) with total declared value of $932 million. Import rose by $100 million, or 11.5% in value terms.

Since the beginning of the year, 61,637 new and used passenger cars (-19.3%) have been imported by official representatives, dealers and individuals. Of these, 10,483 (-8.6%) are hybrid, and 409 vehicles (+2.6 times) are powered by electricity.

In order to update the bus fleet, the state and private companies purchased 374 buses with a total declared value of $50.8 million. In the first 11 months of the last year the number of buses purchased was 213.

According to the SCC, this year the import of trucks (4,556 units) has dropped by 9.4% and special equipment (299 units) has doubled.

In Azerbaijan in the reviewed period there were assembled 1,812 cars (-10.7%).
