Sofia:Azerbaijani boxer Subhan Mammadov has claimed the gold medal at the European Boxing Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Mammadov competed in the 50-kilogram weight class and secured victory by defeating Russia's Bair Batlaev. The final match ended with a score of 4:1, with the judges scoring it 30:27, 29:28, 28:29, 30:27, and 29:28 in favor of Mammadov.
