Baku:Azercell is currently accepting project proposals for its 2026 social project competition titled 'Expanding Opportunities: Women's Support Program.' This initiative seeks submissions from non-governmental and non-profit organizations that can leverage digital solutions to enhance women's economic opportunities and foster their active participation in the country's social and economic spheres.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Priority in the selection process will be given to projects that aim to improve women's quality of life through technology, strengthen digital skills, and promote inclusivity. The evaluation criteria will focus on the project's audience reach, sustainability of outcomes, and potential for long-term social impact.

An independent panel of experts will evaluate the submitted projects, with successful proposals receiving funding of up to AZN 7,000 to aid in their execution. Organizations are required to submit their proposals in Azerbaijani by September 30, 2026, including a detailed budget that outlines the costs associated with project implementation.

Azercell has been organizing this social project competition since 2022 and has supported 10 projects to date, addressing various social issues and contributing to community improvements across the nation.
