Baku: The Great Silk Way International Boxing Tournament among female and male athletes is set to take place at the Boxing Center in Baku on April 2. This prestigious event will run until April 7, featuring a diverse array of national teams vying for top honors.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the tournament will see participation from the national teams of Azerbaijan, Australia, Algeria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Trkiye, and Uzbekistan. A total of 126 boxers will compete in the event, with 14 sets of medals up for grabs.

Azerbaijan will have a strong representation at the tournament, with 37 male and 6 female athletes set to compete. The tournament has become a traditional competition, attracting skilled boxers from various countries who will showcase their talents on the international stage.
