Azerbaijani Community in Budapest Gathers to Discuss Diaspora Priorities

Budapest: Fuad Muradov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora, met with members of the Azerbaijani community in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The meeting began with the performance of the national anthem, followed by a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Esmira Jafarova noted that the unity of Azerbaijanis living abroad around common goals and national solidarity plays a crucial role in conveying the realities of Azerbaijan to the international community in a comprehensive and effective manner. She acknowledged the contributions of Azerbaijanis to diaspora activities.

Ibrahim Safarli, Head of the Azerbaijani House in Budapest, highlighted the upcoming projects aimed at strengthening solidarity within the Azerbaijani community and fostering active engagement with local society.

Fuad Muradov underlined that the diaspora policy pursued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev makes an important contribution to bringing Azerbaijanis around the world closer together, expanding their networks, and strengthening their solidarity around national interests.
