According to Trend News Agency, the day was marked by a series of strategic and diplomatic developments. President Ilham Aliyev hosted the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Sentop, underscoring the close ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey. In addition, President Aliyev participated in a video interview with the Russian TASS news agency, discussing the ongoing conflict and its implications. President Aliyev also took to Twitter to highlight Armenia's heavy artillery shelling of Azerbaijani settlements, which violated a humanitarian ceasefire. He further announced the liberation of several villages in the Jabrayil district and congratulated Colonel General Elchin Guliyev on raising the Azerbaijani flag on the Khudafarin bridge, a significant morale booster for Azerbaijani forces. The Azerbaijani military reported the destruction of Armenian military equipment and announced a list of the destroyed assets. Among the losses for Armenia was a high-ranking official from one of its battalions. In the Tartar district, Armenian shelling resulted in serious injuries to a local resident. Armenian forces also targeted Azerbaijani positions along the state border. The Azerbaijani army continued to gain ground, seizing military equipment abandoned by retreating Armenian troops. A film crew from Azerbaijan's AzTV was fired upon in Aghdam, leaving one journalist injured, highlighting the dangers faced by reporters in the conflict zone. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry released a video showcasing war trophies seized from Armenian forces in the Jabrayil and Fuzuli regions, further demonstrating Azerbaijan's advances in the conflict.
