Paris: The 10th International Gastronomy Village has concluded at Place de la Concorde in Paris, showcasing cuisines from over 80 countries. Azerbaijan's national pavilion, organized by the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan with support from the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, drew significant attention from visitors.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event gathered chefs from five continents, serving as a platform for presenting diverse culinary traditions. Participants included embassies, producers, and artisans, all highlighting their national cuisines and culinary heritage.

Azerbaijan's pavilion featured an array of traditional dishes and delicacies such as plov, dolma, shekerbura, pakhlava, badambura, jams, and tea, accompanied by traditional clothing, music, and dance. The Azerbaijani cuisine was among the highlights, allowing visitors to explore the country's rich culinary heritage and traditional cooking techniques.

The Azerbaijani presentation not only showcased the nation's distinctive flavors but also emphasized its historical and cultural heritage through gastronomy. This initiative played a role in strengthening cultural ties between Azerbaijan and France.

Additionally, the event focused on environmental responsibility, with efforts to reduce food waste. Food donations collected during the event were earmarked for distribution to homeless individuals.
