Nakhchivan: Azerbaijani customs officers have successfully seized 4.5 kilograms of opium during a routine inspection at the "Shahtakhti" customs checkpoint under the Nakhchivan Main Customs Department. The opium was found in a truck transporting a mixed cargo of food items from Iran to the United Kingdom, passing through Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discovery was made possible with the assistance of a narcotics detection dog.
