Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has extended his condolences to the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Mr. Yasar Guler, following a tragic incident involving the crash of an F-16 fighter jet belonging to Turkey.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister expressed his sorrow in a condolence letter addressed to his Turkish counterpart. Colonel General Hasanov conveyed his deep sadness over the death of a Turkish military serviceman as a result of the crash. He offered prayers for the deceased serviceman and expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family, sharing in their grief during this difficult time.
