Leyla and Alena Aliyeva Visit Guba Boarding School and STEAM Center

Guba: Leyla Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva visited the Guba district on February 24, as reported by APA. During their visit, they toured a boarding school and the STEAM Center in the city of Guba.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Aliyevas first visited the Guba city general-purpose boarding school, where 114 students, including 79 boys and 35 girls, are currently enrolled. They reviewed the facilities, engaged in conversations with the children, observed lessons, posed for photographs, and presented school supplies. The students entertained with a cultural program featuring poetry and music.

The visit continued to the Guba STEAM Center, an initiative started in 2019 by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in schools. Operating since 2021, the center caters to all age groups. Leyla and Alena Aliyeva reviewed the facilities, interacted with students, and discussed the practical applications of their learning.

The visit concluded with commemorative photographs with the children and school staff.
