Bandar abbas: An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev visited the Bandar Abbas port in Iran, which is recognized as the southern maritime gateway for the International North-South Transport Corridor.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation inspected the port’s infrastructure and operations. Saeed Rasouli, Iran’s Vice-Minister for Roads and Urban Development, provided a comprehensive presentation on the port’s activities, highlighting its strategic importance and current functions.
The meeting also included discussions on potential cooperation opportunities between Azerbaijan and Iran. Additionally, Shahin Mustafayev met with Mohammad Ashouri Taziani, Governor of the Hormozgan province, to further explore prospects for collaboration, emphasizing mutual benefits and strengthening bilateral ties.
